Is this a cute date idea?

I am only 16 and my boyfriend is 18 we have been together for 16 months. we have been having really rough times and im planning a special date on the top of the highest building in my city (a hotel) and im gunna set up a little table with flowers and candles and were going to have dinner on a rooftop but its all gunna be super romantic! Is that cute? I just asked a friend and she said it was wierd.. but the hotel clerks think its adorable!
