How to get better at dance dance revolution?

You have to keep practicing and mentally understand the process of stepping eighth notes and sixteenth notes and such. I never played ddr universe but on a lot of other ddr games there is a "note" setting for the arrows that makes them very clearly one color for notes that fall on the beat, another color for the offbeat and so on and I would definitely recommend that for getting better but you just have to keep practicing to get more and more accurate. Good luck, its because of that game that I lost 50 pounds a couple years ago and it changed my life.
